Matt Guimond, ACAP Housing Specialist, recently received certification from the Building Performance Institute as an Energy Auditor and Quality Control Inspector.
A month-long local challenge to collect soup as part of the national Souper Bowl of Caring campaign came to an end last week with members of the Aroostook Chapter of Maine Credit Unions collecting more than $13,000 in soup and cash donations. The donations will be distributed to food cupboards and pantries across Aroostook County.

This year marked ACAP’s fourth year of participating in the St. Apollonia Dental Clinic Festival of Trees in an effort to both raise awareness of food insecurity in Aroostook County, and to collect cereal boxes to distribute to children who attend their early care and education centers, as well as stock Community Cupboards across Aroostook County.
