ACAP recently received Innovation Funding from the State 5210 Let’s Go Program allowing our local program to invest in yoga kits to keep our community active. 

Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP) has been awarded $15,000 from the John T. Gorman Foundation to provide additional social supports to families with young children.

Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP) recently implemented “Maine’s Connecting with Opportunities Initiative,” funded by a $6.2 million federal grant secured by Maine’s Department of Labor in partnership with Eastern Maine Development Corporation (EMDC).

Governor Janet Mills and MaineHousing announced today an extension of the COVID-19 Rent Relief Program administered by Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP) here in Aroostook County. The rental assistance program, established in April, allows households who meet income guidelines, and are unable to pay their rent due to loss or decreased income as a result of COVID-19, to receive a one-time, up to $500 payment in rental assistance to be paid directly to their landlord.
