Aroostook County Action Program provides the individuals and families of Aroostook with services and resources to help them achieve greater economic independence.

 

 

BackPack Program

Every child should return to school with the resources that they need to succeed! 

Free backpacks filled with school supplies are available to eligible Aroostook County K-12 Students.

 

Registration is required; backpacks are available to families who receive at least one of the following benefits: MaineCare, HEAP or SNAP.
