Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP) is now accepting bid proposals for:
Work Location:
Friendship Cottage

Project Scope:
- Strip all roofing materials from entire roof
- Remove and eliminate skylights
- Install new flashing and ice and water membrane where necessary
- Install new asphalt shingles (and rubber where appropriate)
- Remove and replace, where necessary, trim at eaves and soffits
- Remove and replace French doors to program room
- Remove and eliminate window in upstairs meeting room
- Repair interior walls, ceilings, and floors where water damage from roof has occurred.
All material debris must be legally and appropriately disposed of by contractor on project conclusion.
This project will begin on or after June 6, 2026. All bids must include a projected timeline, including start date and length of project.
Bids must be submitted no later than May 17, 2026. All bids received after this date will not be considered. Successful bidder will be notified on May 22, 2026.
Please separate labor costs and materials cost on bid.
Successfully chosen bidder must comply with all local and state building codes, and must provide:
- Certificate of Liability Insurance
- Worker’s Comp, if applicable, or otherwise must be a registered Independent Contractor with the Worker’s Comp Board.
