Aroostook County Action Program—Community Action in Aroostook, Washington, and Hancock counties—is seeking proposals for snow removal and lawn maintenance for the 2025-2026 year. Duties will include snow plowing, shoveling, winter salt/sanding, and snow removal as needed throughout the winter and lawn maintenance as needed throughout the summer and fall.
Locations include:
- 18 Avery Lane, Ellsworth (Early Care and Education Center/Admin
- 1491 US 1A; Harrington, ME – Harrington ECE / Storage Facility
Bids considered should be either per service and/or whole season.
Awarded contract will begin on November 01, 2025 and remain in effect until October 31, 2026.
Successful chosen bidder must provide a current copy of Certificate of Liability Insurance (including Workers Comp) and submit a completed W-9 form. A Predetermination letter from State Workers Comp Board will also be accepted if applicable to vendor.
All bids must be submitted no later than Friday, October 10, 2025, at 12 PM. Any bids received after this date will not be considered.
Bids may be submitted by USPS or submitted electronically. Bids sent via email should be in PDF format.
