First Homebuyer Education Class of 2020 Scheduled for February 22

The first Homebuyer Education Class of 2020 will be held on Saturday, February 22 from 8 am to 5 pm.

ACAP offers single-day, 8-hour hoMEworks Classes.  Rather than attending multiple shorter sessions, you can now start and finish your class in one sitting. Classes begin at 8 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. with a 45-minute break for lunch between noon and 12:45 pm. If this schedule does not work for you, the hybrid program is still offered online that you complete on your own pace.

For your full attendance, you will receive a 8-hour course completion certificate. Costs for the day classes are $30 per person or $50 per couple. The online class costs $99.

** ACAP does not charge for individual counseling services. Classes are held at the ACAP Office located at 771 Main Street in Presque Isle.

To register for the class or if you have questions, please contact the instructor, Greg Doak, at (207) 768-3023.

Class days are separated into 6 one-hour sessions and 1 two-hour session.  As part of your class experience, ACAP brings together professionals you may encounter in your home buying journey.  These professionals will tell you what to expect during the process and answer your questions.  Presenters may include home inspectors, Realtors, insurance agents, loan officers, title researchers, etc.

We look forward to making this a fun-filled and educational experience for you!

NOTE:  All classes are held in the Presque Isle ACAP building, 771 Main St. (next to Walmart), from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Attendance for the entire class is mandatory to receive your certificate. Please plan to bring a lunch, or several options are available close to our facility. ACAP provides coffee, water and access to a basic kitchen. Subway, Walmart, and Tim Hortons are within walking distance. Arby's, KFC, Burger King, Pizza Hut, and Graves Shop and Save are within a 2-minute drive.
