The ACAP Community Cupboards are small self-serve free pantries that help to fill a gap. These little pantries are located at the Main St ACAP office as well as in the lobby of the Houlton ACAP Office. The concept is a simple one of take what you need and leave what you can, but these cupboards help those who are facing food insecurity. The Presque Isle location is available to all 24 hours a day and can be accessed privately without having to provide any personal information. With 15.4 percent of Aroostook County residents who are facing food insecurity, these cupboards are just one small way that ACAP can help to fight hunger.
