This month marks a new start in our work towards developing a new Community Action Agency serving northern and easternmost Maine. Although much work remains to be done to bring together Aroostook, Washington and Hancock Counties into one entity (including a new name) we are taking the next step in that transition by launching this new interim logo/brand which defines who we are becoming.
It features the words “Community Action in Aroostook, Washington and Hancock Counties” encircling a map of the three counties we collectively serve with an overlay of the “Huggy Heart” logo used nationally by many Community Action Agencies and which serves as the emblem of the National Community Action Partnership. The “Huggy Heart” appears to embrace the region, further signifying the unity and coming together of our region and work.
