Aroostook County Action Program is seeking proposals for snow removal for the upcoming 2024-2025 winter. Duties will include snow plowing of driveways, sidewalks, all exits doors, pathways to all filler pipes and all exterior fence gates along with salting of driveways and sidewalks. Removal of snowbanks when needed for upcoming snowstorms. The season will begin at first snowfall and end in the spring of 2025 when all snow has stopped and driveways are down to hot top.
Bids for individual locations or bids that cover multiple locations will be accepted. All successful bidders will need to provide necessary documentation, including certificate of liability and workers compensation.
The following locations:
• 771 Main Street, Presque Isle – Customer Service Center (including snow removal around gate in propane area)
• 44 Park Street, Presque Isle - Gouldville Center
• 44 Park Street, Presque Isle - Powers Place (including keeping path clear to fuel pipes)
• 1 Edgemont Drive, Presque Isle (including keeping path clear to fuel pipes)
• 17 Bowles Road, Caribou – Child and Family Center
• 40 Alfalfa Ave., Fort Kent – Child and Family Center
