Aroostook County - Matt Guimond, ACAP Housing Specialist, recently received certification from the Building Performance Institute as an Energy Auditor and Quality Control Inspector. This sought after certification from the Building Professionals Institute allows Matt to complete energy audits, choose tasks required to complete a weatherization on a home, and inspect the completed work done by a local contractor or ACAP’s in house Weatherization Crew. With this certification, the agency will be able to serve more clients across Aroostook County.

Matt has proven himself as a hard worker and team player over the past six years and this certification shows his commitment to ACAP and the clients that we serve. ” said Randy Rattray, Program Coordinator ACAP Housing Services.
Matt has been employed at ACAP for the past six years and is a valued member of the housing team. Matt, a native of Aroostook County, and his wife reside in Washburn with their three children. In his free time Matt enjoys spending time outdoor especially during duck hunting season.
