Crisis and Intervention Services

Case Management Services - Provides information, referrals, advocacy and assistance with food, shelter, and other resources to those in need. Case Management is a method of providing services whereby a professional Social Worker collaboratively assesses the needs of the client and the client’s family, when appropriate, and arranges, coordinates, monitors, evaluates, and advocates for a package of multiple services to meet the specific client’s complex needs.

Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP) - Provides assistance to income-eligible households for emergency fuel delivery or an electrical disconnect emergency.

Helping Hands Emergency Services - Provides assistance to households for emergency needs (especially fuel) where other resources, including LIHEAP and ECIP, are not available. The program includes follow-up case management services to assist households with preventing future such crises.
